On March 9th the YCKC Singers performed alongside local Kansas City band "Fathers" at the 2016 Main Event Space. This unique collaboration was in celebration of the band's EP release.
The Youth Chorus of Kansas City is continually seeking opportunities for the singers to perform at venues and events throughout the metro area. From the national anthem before the Harlem Globetrotters game to a performance with the Nairobi Chamber Chorus, YCKC singers enjoy connecting with the community. The Youth Chorus of Kansas City was honored to be the only choir featured at the 2018 Kansas City Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 23rd. Mayor Sly James invited YCKC to participate in the festivities and help usher in the holiday season in Crown Center.
