YCKC is looking for enthusiastic, hard-working singers in grades 3-12 from across the Kansas City metro to join us for our 2020-2021 season. No prior musical training is necessary, but some choral experience is helpful for singers in grades 6 and up. See our FAQ section for additional chorus information.
Auditions for the 2020-2021 season will occur on June 13th, June 20th and June 27th at Village Presbyterian Church on Antioch.

The Youth Chorus of Kansas City was thrilled to perform the National Anthem before the February 8th Harlem Globetrotters game. Singers from the Prelude, Intermezzo, Singer and Youth Chorus ensembles sang together for this exciting event. Hit the play button below to watch the performance. On March 9th the YCKC Singers performed alongside local Kansas City band "Fathers" at the 2016 Main Event Space. This unique collaboration was in celebration of the band's EP release.
The Youth Chorus of Kansas City is continually seeking opportunities for the singers to perform at venues and events throughout the metro area. From the national anthem before the Harlem Globetrotters game to a performance with the Nairobi Chamber Chorus, YCKC singers enjoy connecting with the community. The Youth Chorus of Kansas City was honored to be the only choir featured at the 2018 Kansas City Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 23rd. Mayor Sly James invited YCKC to participate in the festivities and help usher in the holiday season in Crown Center.
