Danaya Roller

Executive Director

Danaya Roller is the former Director of Choirs at Liberty High School in Liberty, Missouri. She holds an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, a Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from the University of Central Missouri, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Missouri State University. Danaya has served as a choral director in the Warrensburg, Blue Springs, and Liberty school districts. In 2023, she was named Outstanding Director in the Kansas City Metro by the Missouri Choral Directors Association.

When she’s not in front of a choir, Danaya can be found cheering on the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs with her husband, Steven, and their son, Bronson. From 2010 to 2019, she took her enthusiasm for hometown sports to the next level by serving as the emcee for the Kansas City Royals—including the 2012 All-Star Game and both the 2014 and 2015 World Series runs.

Danaya is excited to step into the role of Executive Director for the Youth Chorus of Kansas City, where she looks forward to continuing her passion for empowering young voices and expanding access to quality choral experiences for all students across the metro.
