YCKC Rhapsody
Grades 3-5, Non-auditioned
Singers in Rhapsody are welcomed into a fun and fast-paced learning environment with a focus on excellence! Rhapsody singers meet new friends who love singing, all while learning musical skills such as advanced singing in parts, solfege, and music reading.
Rhapsody meets from 5:00-6:00 pm on Monday evenings at YCKC’s State Line location beginning in August.
Ashlynne Villaca, Director
Mrs. Villaca received her Bachelor’s in Music Education with a Minor in Ethnic and Gender Studies from Emporia State University, and she is currently pursuing her Master’s in Music Education at the University of Kansas. Villaca currently teaches 6-8 grade Choir at Piper Middle School in Kansas City, Kansas.
