Collaborative Pianist
The Youth Chorus of Kansas City is seeking a positive and community-minded collaborative pianist to accompany two of our ensembles: Etude, serving students in grades K-2, and Chorale, serving students in grades 9-12. This role offers the chance to work with and inspire students from across the Kansas City metro and help shape the next generation of lifelong music makers.
Expectations include: the ability to play and perform advanced literature at a high level and prepare it outside of rehearsal, professional and timely communication with all stakeholders including the ensemble director, artistic director, and executive director, availability for weekly Monday evening rehearsals and events as scheduled, ability to lead student sectionals as needed.
